What exactly counts as a “location”?
A location is a single physical site with its own bins — a warehouse, stockroom, branch, or a 3PL facility you operate out of. You’re billed per active location, so a two-warehouse distributor on the Warehouse plan pays for two. Transfer stock between your locations at no extra cost.
Is there really no SKU cap on the Warehouse plan?
Correct. Floor caps at 5,000 SKUs to keep it affordable for single sites; Warehouse and Network are unlimited. Variants (size, finish, pack quantity) roll up under a parent SKU and don’t count against anything.
What barcode hardware do I need?
None that’s proprietary. Any USB or Bluetooth HID scanner works out of the box, and the Shelfwise mobile app turns an iPhone or Android phone into a scanner for receiving, putaway, and picking. For labels, we print GS1-128 to any standard thermal printer.
Can I bring my current data with me?
Yes. During onboarding we import SKUs, on-hand quantities, bin assignments, suppliers, and reorder points from CSV or Excel with a guided column mapping. Most single-site teams are live the same day they send the file.
How does billing work, and can I change plans?
Choose monthly or annual, and add or remove locations at any time — changes prorate to your next invoice. Upgrades from Floor to Warehouse take effect immediately; nothing about your data or history changes. There’s no setup fee and no long-term contract on Floor or Warehouse.
